Grace in Grief: A SoulCollage® Search for Kindness, Forgiveness and Inner Wisdom
Many of us feel we’re wading through streams and rivers—and some days seeming oceans—of grief. In this gentle and supportive SoulCollage® workshop you are invited to explore your grief with curiosity, compassion, and grace: finding kindness and forgiveness for yourself.
Through SoulCollage,® journaling, and sharing we will explore our grief and uncover moments of grace in the tumult of our lived experiences now.
How SoulCollage® Supports Grief
Grief support utilizing SoulCollage® is an expressive arts practice that combines intuitive collage-making with emotional processing to help individuals navigate loss, transitions, and complex feelings without needing any artistic experience.
Visual Expression: When words feel too heavy or hard to find, selecting and arranging images onto 5x8-inch cards helps give shape and voice to hidden emotions, inner guides, and parts of the self affected by loss.
The "I Am One Who" Process: Participants speak from the perspective of their finished cards (such as an inner grief guide or a wounded part of the heart), allowing a safe, compassionate distance to witness and honor the pain.
Building a Grief Toolbox: Cards can represent support systems, physical sensations of grief in the body, or loving memories of a departed loved one, serving as a tangible, portable tool for reflection and journaling.
Included in This Workshop: All SoulCollage® supplies, Reflective Journaling prompts, Connection and Community with others who are processing grief.
Who will Benefit from this Workshop
This class is designed for anyone navigating grief in any form – whether related to the loss of a loved one or pet, a relationship, a job, a dream, climate grief, or a significant transition. You are invited to show up exactly where you are in your journey. All you need is an open heart, curiosity, and a willingness to explore your inner wisdom.
